How Amouré Was Born

Amouré started on an ordinary day — the kind that turns out to be life-changing.

One afternoon, my husband and I, both lifelong fragrance lovers, found ourselves wandering through a mall. Out of curiosity, we stepped into a well-known impression brand’s store, just to see what all the hype was about. As people who’ve always used original designer perfumes, we thought it would be fun to compare.

What happened next? Well, it was disappointing — to say the least.

The salesgirl handed us a tester strip. The moment we sniffed it, all we could smell was harsh ethanol. We asked her to spray it again, hoping for something better… but still, only the faintest trace of scent beneath all that alcohol. It didn’t just underwhelm us — it made us realize something deeper:
